The goals of RCASA’s community education programs are to increase public awareness about the impact of sexual assault, promote community involvement, foster a multi-disciplinary systems approach to victims of sexual assault and child sexual abuse, and challenge the prevailing attitudes and dispel the myths which perpetuate the problem of sexual assault. RCASA offers free workshops and presentations on sexual violence/abuse/assault to the general public as well as to allied professional groups and individuals in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Caroline and King George counties. Our presentations are varied in length and can held at your location or through RCASA. A fee structure, associated with some of our presentations, is based on a sliding scale. For presentations outside of our service area, a mileage fee is added to the base cost of the presentation. Our presentations can be tailored to fit your needs, and we are always willing to work with you to develop appropriate material for your group.
